Senior Hardware Engineer/Senior RF Engineer (Permanent)

Location: Cambridge Country: UK Rate: £50k - £60k
 

Are you a talented Hardware Engineer seeking an innovative role in IoT and smart technology?

Lynx Recruitment is recruiting for a Senior Hardware Engineer to join our clients' team in Cambridge, UK.

You will work in their state-of-the-art office adjacent to the prestigious Cambridge Science Park, with access to prototype labs, equipment and collaboration spaces. As a key member of the hardware team, you will design, develop and test innovative narrowband RF devices and modules.

Responsibilities:

  • Support hardware development projects from concept to production
  • Design and layout PCBs, select components, create prototypes
  • Perform testing to verify and validate product performance
  • Execute field trials and manage external test facilities
  • Collaborate with software, operations and test engineers

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or similar experience
  • 5+ years hardware design and test experience
  • Knowledge of RF systems, cellular protocols, TCP/IP, etc.
  • Proficiency with Altium, CAD tools and lab equipment
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
