Business Process Analyst/Consultant (Six Sigma) (Contract)

Location: Cornwall Country: UK Rate: £550 - £700pd
 

Positive Employment is currently recruiting for a Business Process Expert for our client a local government based in Cornwall.

The successful candidate will specializes in Lean Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements across the organization. They are responsible for identifying inefficiencies, reducing waste, and implementing solutions that enhance overall business performance.

This is a 4 month starting contract with the expectation being 12 months. This role is remote working.

*PLEASE NOTE SIX SIGMA GREEN OR BLACK BELT IS ESSENTIAL.*

Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Identify and prioritise process improvement opportunities using Lean Six Sigma tools.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in process analysis and improvement initiatives.
  • Design and implement new, more efficient business processes.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of implemented processes.
  • Train and mentor staff on Lean Six Sigma principles and tools.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment of processes with business objectives.
  • Analyse data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and manage training programs.
  • Supporting Business Partners in identifying business needs and assessing requests for change received from Council Teams, Services and Directorates.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to optimize processes, reduce waste and enhance overall business performance.
  • Identify inefficiencies in processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Personal Requirements:

  • Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.
  • Proven experience in process improvement.
  • Agile working - Practitioner - Able to identify and compare the best processes or delivery methods to use, including measuring and evaluating outcomes.
  • Helps the team to decide the best approach. Able to help teams to manage and visualise outcomes, prioritise work and work to agreed minimum viable product (MVP), print and scope.
  • Business Analyst - Practitioner - Investigates problems and analyses options for new and existing services.
  • Provides recommendations to solutions.
  • Works with stakeholders to identify objectives, opportunities and potential benefits available.
  • Business Improvement Process - Practitioner - Able to analyse current services and processes, and identify and implement opportunities to optimise these.
  • Helps to evaluate and establish requirements using relevant techniques such as gap analysis.
  • Digital Perspective - Practitioner - Has the ability to apply a digital understanding to their work.
  • Is able to identify and implement solutions for assisted digital.
  • Innovation - Working - Ability to identify and pinpoint business opportunities to allow organisations to perform more effectively.
  • This allows businesses to look at new ways of tackling business processes or to establish new services from scratch.
  • Requirements definition and management - Practitioner - Responsible for elicitation of requirements.
  • Facilitates setting of business priorities for change initiatives of medium complexity. Manages and implements requests for changes to baseline requirements.
  • Stakeholder relationship management - Practitioner - Identifies key stakeholders, tailoring communication to their needs and works with teams to build relationships whilst also meeting user needs.
  • Can take opposing views to reach consensus.
  • Understands how to work with stakeholders and contributes to improving these relationships, using evidence to explain decisions made.
  • User focus - Practitioner - Identifies and engages with users and stakeholders to collate user needs evidence, and understands and defines research which fits user needs.
  • Able to use quantitative and qualitative data about users to turn user focus into outcomes.

Working Hours: 09:00am - 17:30pm, Monday - Friday

Pay: £550.00 - £700.00 per day

Please note this role is within the scope of IR35.
