Job Description:

Ensure that proposed and existing systems architectures are aligned with organisational goals and objectives
Provide architectural expertise, direction, and assistance to software development and video engineering teams
Where applicable, design, develop, and oversee implementation of end-to-end integrated systems
Collaborate with platform owners, project managers and project sponsors to determine project scope and vision
Conduct research on emerging technologies in support of systems development efforts, and recommend technologies that will increase cost effectiveness and systems flexibility
Act as design authority overseeing the architectural design of their assigned feature developments
Act as quality leader and be accountable for ensuring the highest possible quality in their assigned technical features

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in broadcast technology or equivalent in a relevant field
Extensive practical experience of the delivery of broadcast projects
Demonstrable experience in public cloud technologies
Strong interpersonal and consultative skills
Experience of being the technical point of contact for the design, development and implementation of broadcast solutions, systems, or products
