Java and Oracle SQL Developer - Banking - DBA/Oracle/JPA/SDLC/Maven/Business Knowledge

Key Responsibilities

• Java developer within Trade Management Development team involved with all aspects of SDLC.
• Optimising Improve performance of queries to Oracle database, tuning Oracle database performance
• Own the delivery of business requirements through to test and production release.
• Collaborate on key design decisions for the platform build out to meet business' goals.
• Third line system support.

Candidate Profile/Key Skills

• Extensive knowledge in developing Server Side Java application and designing and developing the database layer with Oracle SQL
• Experience in collaboration with DBA to tune Oracle database performance
• Experience in improving the performance of JPA/Hibernate data access layer
• Experience in migrating physical Database
• Experience in DDL design, de-normalization/normalization data, archiving strategy, tidy database
• Demonstrable enterprise software engineering with an understanding of working in a secure compute and regulated environment.
• Good understanding of software architecture principles and their application.
• Ownership mindset - working with external teams eg, DBAs, infosec to progress end-to-end solutions.
