React/Typescript Contractor

6 months - Inside IR35, Hybrid (London/WFH)

An Inside of IR35 contract role as the Technical Lead who will be at the forefront of delivering an all-encompassing application. Catering to a vast customer base, harnessing a product-focused approach to drive innovation and excellence within an organisation that prides itself on its technology prowess, creating high-quality software, indexing data, and disseminating valuable content for consumers and manufacturers.

Technical proficiency in React and Typescript is a must, with expertise in Node.js also being welcomed. Prototyping, Architectural design, and Optimisation will be key aspects of this role with demonstrable exposure to GraphQL and REST APIs needed.

Must haves:

• Strong React/Typescript, Node - Prototyping, Architectural Design and Optimisation.
• Product driven mindset and stakeholder engagement skill set.
• Coaching, Mentoring capabilities.
• Knowledge of React Native, Hooks, Redux a big plus.
• GraphQL and REST API expertise.
• Strong stakeholder management experience, ability to pull voices together from different teams.
• Experience in a JVM environment would be helpful, Kubernetes and Springboot exposure a plus

This Product/Tech company are looking for someone with a capability to collaborate seamlessly with UX, QA, Product, and Delivery Managers and a familiarity with the Spotify model, Squads & Tribes.

The role demands a candidate with a proven track record of working in a lead capacity, adept at mentoring, conducting one-to-ones, and crafting strategic roadmaps. A product-driven mindset coupled with exceptional stakeholder engagement skills is essential. The ability to coach and mentor, while fostering an Agile and/or Scrum environment, is paramount.
