Contract Perl Developer (Contract)
Location: Scotland, United Kingdom Remote Working Country: UK Rate: £500 - £525
Fully Remote within the UK
Outside IR35 - 3 months initially (extension very likely)
c.£500-525 Day Rate
An established global tech company with a significant UK presence are looking to work with an experienced Perl Contract Developer for an initial 3 months to play a key role in the support and maintenance of a complex Legacy application used in the European Power market.
This role would see you contributing significant feature development, day-to-day support, and crucially working on refactoring Legacy code. The application itself is stored in Azure, so we would like to see previous experience either within Azure or a similar cloud provider (ie Amazon Web Services).
Key skills:
. Strong experience with Perl application development
. Good knowledge of refactoring/re-writing
. Experience of working with Legacy/monolithic applications
. Experience working in Azure and/or other cloud providers (AWS/GCP)
This role is available fully-remote within the UK, and is deemed as Outside IR35. We are accepting CVs for this with a view to immediate interviews.
