This is a Netherlands based role with an excellent immediate start within a Global Technology Client that is working on their largest digital and technological transformation program.

Job Description:
As a Java Developer, you'll be integral to the execution of technical elements within our clients tech stack and processes. Your ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions, estimate effort and impact, and maintain high-quality craftsmanship will drive our success.
Collaboration with colleagues across various job roles is key as you tackle a range of technical tasks, from product features to infrastructure automation and services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3-5 years of broad job knowledge in software engineering
• Proficiency in building software applications and critical thinking
• Experience in end-to-end system ownership, software systems design, and technical incident management
• Familiarity with architectural guidance and technical leadership
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders

Key Responsibilities

• Designing and developing software applications using relevant development languages
• Writing clean, reusable code and implementing standard patterns and libraries
• Refactoring and simplifying code to improve maintainability and performance
• Ensuring application quality through comprehensive testing techniques
• Maintaining data security, integrity, and quality in accordance with company standards
• Owning end-to-end service delivery, including monitoring, metrics, and performance optimization
• Implementing continuous delivery and experimentation frameworks to obtain customer feedback
• Addressing live production issues promptly and effectively within SLA
• Improving system reliability through root cause analysis and long-term solutions
• Collaborating with product teams to provide technical solutions aligned with business requirements
• Identifying opportunities for process and structural improvements to enhance business performance
