rate and salary survey in early November to give you the following
snapshot of IT contractors and full time employees who responded
to the queries.
We analyzed the results after eliminating questionable
or incomplete responses from the raw data, which consisted of answers
from 30,435 full time employees and 4,764 contractors. To compare
rate with salary, we multiplied the hourly rate by 1,920 hours,
assuming a 40-hour work week, two weeks of vacation and 10 holidays.
