Description
Key Role:
Provide subject matter expertise support to the Army client to support technical intelligence (TECHINT) processing, exploitation, and dissemination (PED) systems. Provide operational expertise and guidance in all matters regarding cooperative and non-cooperative biometric collection devices and sensors, data exchange formats, forensics processing, submission, modalities, sensors, matching algorithms, reporting, template generation, jurisprudence, and DoD biometrics policies and procedures. Provide additional support in the areas of operational employment of military intelligence systems, system architecture, system integration, application development, requirements analysis and verification, test and evaluation, and modeling and simulation (M&S). Leverage comprehensive knowledge of biometric tools necessary to accomplish intelligence functions and maintain communication with users and the biometrics community to define and refine the user's version of the system and tools. Interface with the government personnel and other stakeholders in order to support integration and testing initiatives to determine evolving needs and participate in reviews of documents, test strategies, and systems, including concept of operations (CONOPS), Program Protection Plans (PPP), systems engineering plans (SEP), test plans, and Capability Production Documents (CPD). Support system requirements review (SRR), preliminary design review (PDR), critical design review (CDR), and technical exchange meetings (TEMs), interact with design and implementation engineers and architects to realize the improved capabilities, and work within cross-functional teams with diverse backgrounds. Leverage crisis management, problem solving, negotiation, and communication expertise and operational experience with management of personnel, networks, and intelligence products.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
-10+ years of experience with military intelligence information systems, including biometrics
-Experience with consulting
-Knowledge of Army intelligence systems
-Knowledge of the software development life cycle
-Ability to work effectively under pressure and interact with senior government personnel
-TS/SCI clearance required
-BA or BS degree required
Additional Qualifications:
-Possession of excellent leadership skills
-BA or BS degree in IT, CS, or a related field preferred
-Graduate of MI Advanced Course
Clearance:
