Description
Key Role:
Provide software engineering support to the US Army client to design, develop, and support technical intelligence (TECHINT) processing, exploitation, and dissemination (PED) systems. Ensure that the software systems and components are successfully integrated and deployed. Support the integration of software components in a collaborative environment with customer and team members and participate in the software development life cycle, including requirements definition, design, test, and delivery phases. Define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret system component tests and test plans and collaborate with the team of analysts and engineers to interpret system requirements and designs for software test cases. Provide installation, integration, testing, debugging, and documentation, develop software documentation, and support system integrators and administrators with the installation of software applications and the development of training materials. Work well within cross-functional teams with diverse backgrounds. Leverage technology experience in software integration, system administration, and testing. This position is located in Aberdeen, MD.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience with software design and development
-Experience with software testing or software quality assurance
-Experience with integration documentation, installations guides, software version description, or technical reports
-Experience with configuration and administration of Linux and configuration management and bug-tracking tools, including Redmine or Trac
-Experience with consulting
-Knowledge of the software development life cycle
-Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a complex and dynamic environment
-Ability to work effectively under pressure and interact with government personnel
-TS/SCI clearance required
-BA or BS degree in IT, CS, or Computer Engineering
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with VMware ESXi server and KVM technologies
-Knowledge of Army INTEL systems
-MA or MS degree in IT, CS, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or EE preferred
Clearance:
