Description

Key Role:

Provide network engineering support to a DoD program office that develops, fields, and supports software-defined radio systems. Provide technical support to a software-defined radio program in the areas of system architecture, system integration, application development, programmable radios architecture and design, mobile networking, requirements analysis and verification, acquisition systems engineering documentation, test and evaluation planning, Modeling and Simulation (M&S), and wireless networking waveforms. Work with the DoD clients to support integration and testing initiatives, including technical recommendations based on the review of documents, such as Program Protection Plans (PPP), Systems Engineering Plans (SEP), test plans, Spectrum Support Risk Assessments (SSRA), and Capability Production Documents (CPD). Support System Requirement Review (SRR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR), and Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs). This position is located in Aberdeen, MD.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience with network engineering in System Deployment and Integration Network (SDIN) services
-Experience with the Joint acquisition community and DoD
-Experience with assembling internal and external networks, architecture, and structure
-Experience with the assembly of satellite terminals
-Knowledge of Cisco routers, firewalls, and Haipe Type 1 Encrpytion Devices
-Secret clearance required
-BA or BS degree required
-Cisco Routers and Firewalls (CCNA) Certification

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with Haipe Type 1 Encryption Devices
-Experience with Army acquisitions
-Possession of excellent organizational skills
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-BA or BS degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred
