Description
Key Role:
Apply knowledge of Radio Frequency (RF) transmission and receiving systems and conduct analysis of RF systems and devices to totally characterize their function, technical specifications, and performance characteristics. Develop automated test procedures in Labview. Demonstrate knowledge of RF Lab testing devices and systems, including signal generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other test equipment and devices to rigorously test devices of interest. Use software tools to extract data from device memory and use reverse engineering techniques to develop concept of devices intended usage and method of employment. Develop schematic diagrams of device design and organization and technical reports thoroughly describing the devices characteristics. Develop test procedures to rigorously and thoroughly test RF devices, using RF theory.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:-3+ years of experience with RF technology and electronics lab work-Experience in extensive development with Labview-Experience with testing RF systems, including receivers and transmitters-Experience with using various types of test equipment, including oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and spectrum analyzers-Experience with writing technical test reports-Experience with clients or organizations in the Army, other military branches, or civilian industry-Secret clearance
Additional Qualifications:-Experience with MatLab coding preferred-Experience with RF and antenna technologies-Ability to solder-Ability to work in a hands-on role-AS degree in RF Technology, EE, Telecommunications, or a related field
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
