Description

Key Role:
Work as a Redhat and Debian configuration and Puppet expert, including open source and enterprise versions to support I2WD. Maintain responsibility for training, development, use, and deployment as they apply to Linux installations. Leverage expertise with Linux installation and configuration to deploy in a classified enclave based on recommendations from IA analysts, project requirements, and IA standards. Leverage expertise with installation and configuration of local area networks. Apply experience with server hardening, including Linux and Microsoft and infrastructure, including Routers and switches. Apply knowledge of Puppet and the ability to train others on Puppet open source configuration management tool. Leverage experience with supporting quick reaction capability programs. This position is located in Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:-Experience with IP-based networking, including protocols and network topologies-Knowledge of test methodologies-Ability to pay attention to details and focus on quality-Ability to work efficiently in an independent manor and as a part of a team-Ability to train others-Ability to work on site 5 days a week-Secret clearance required

Additional Qualifications:-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills-TS/SCI clearance preferred
-BS degree in CS, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or a related field preferred
