Description
Key Role:
Serve as an experienced senior electrical or computer engineer in a position that involves the state of the art in automated and dynamic spectrum access and sensing, Embedded spectrum management techniques, and working in a challenging and hands-on environment supporting the DoD and other specialized customers. Assist and engage with the design, development, testing, and evaluation of new and emerging spectrum management tools and capabilities that can be incorporated directly into existing and next generation smart military, tactical radios, and networks. Develop and support R&D initiatives related to defining and modifying radio and spectrum management system architectures to implement Dynamic Spectrum Access and related technologies. This position is located in Aberdeen, MD.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
-10+ years of experience with Radio Frequency related programs for the Armed Forces
-Experience with Dynamic Spectrum Allocation (DSA), Spectrum Management and Policy, cognitive radios and cognitive networking, software defined radios, Adaptive Smart Radio Technology, C++ programming, and RF propagation
-Knowledge of DoD and Army Spectrum Policies
-Ability to perform in a hands-on lab environment as a technical project manager
-Ability to construct and deliver briefings to a wide range of audiences
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BS degree in EE or CS
