Duties and Responsibilities:Required to have knowledge with both entity-relationship and objected-oriented data modeling particularly. Understand the use of the tools associated with both approaches. Specifically Unified Modeling Language (UML). Have a grasp of Enterprise Architectures. Understand both US and NATO security and releaseability markings. Employee must become familiar with or have a working knowledge of the National Information Exchange Model (NIEM), the Joint Command, Control and Consultation Information Exchange Data Model (JC3IEDM), and understand the transition path of Command and Control (C2) Core Data Model and Universal Core data model to NIEM MilOps. Required to participate in meetings related to the TIES CWP effort, and in the Multilateral Interoperability Programme working group. Develop Appropriate Data Transformation Software (XSLTs). Will be tasked to participate in the mapping of US IC-ISM/NTK security tags to NATO security standards. Be able to travel to Germany and various other locations in Europe to work efforts concerning data standardization within a coalition environment. Participate in teleconferences and test sessions related to MIP and the TIES CWP effort.
