Description
Key Role:
Support the Army client to help ensure the successful design, development, and integration of DCGS-A software baselines, establish the basic structure of the system, and define the essential core design features and elements that provide the framework. Provide requirements analysis and define the users' vision for what the system needs to be and do and the paths along which the system must be able to evolve. Provide architectural, functional, and empirical analysis related to the architectural design and implementation of complex systems. Participate in the design of test strategies, devices, and systems, support integration, test, and verification activities, and interface with government personnel and other stakeholders in order to determine evolving needs. Generate system requirements based on the user's needs and other constraints, including cost and schedule, ensure requirements are consistent, complete, correct, and operationally defined, perform cost-benefit analyses, and interface with design and implementation engineers and architects and ensure that robust design. Evaluate acceptance test requirements and products, including diagrams, models, and prototypes and ensure all architectural products and products with architectural input are maintained. Support identification of flaws and opportunities for tighter integration or interoperability with the DCGS-A system, assist the client with ensuring development of a fully-functional mission system, ensure interoperability of DCGS-A mission system solutions, and learn new architectural paradigms, techniques, and applications. This position is located in Aberdeen, MD.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
-7+ years of experience with systems engineering and architecture with an emphasis on Cloud or biometric systems
-Experience with consulting
-Knowledge of the full systems engineering life cycle
-Knowledge of Army INTEL systems
-Ability to work effectively under pressure and interact with government personnel
-TS/SCI clearance required
-BA or BS degree required
Additional Qualifications:
-MS degree in CS or a related technical field preferred
Clearance:
