As we grow, we are seeking outstanding NoSQL Engineers †MongoDB who are interested in implementing our MongoDB open source data processing platform.
What you need for this position:
- Solid understanding of large-scale data management environments (relational and/or NoSQL)
- Strong software engineering skills preferably with Java in a Linux environment
- Experience with MongoDB, Hadoop, MapReduce and/or other open source scalable data store technologies
- Cloud, Java, text mining, search, distributed computing, Linux
- Understanding of distributed data theories (CAP Theorem, etc..)
What you'll be doing:
- Be a part of our engineering and architecture team to help implement our MongoDB open source data processing platform
- Designing, developing and maintaining scalable data processing solutions using open source NoSQL technologies
- Participate in the research, design and development of scaling strategies for very large and growing open source data assets
- Lead data strategy, design and architecture while providing guidance to application developers on how to utilize the capabilities of NoSQL Technologies
- Algorithm development, Back End automation, problem solving, scalability architecture and large-scale open source data processing are day-to-day requirements
- Establishment of analytics and decision support capability that enable the business, our clients and technology teams to make data-driven decisions on the best ways to maximize the use of open source data
- BS/MS in Computer Science/Any Engineering. 4-5 years†experience
