Job Summary
Manages IT projects through planning, scheduling and controlling of activities to ensure the successful implementation of projects, including acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
1. Coordinates requirements gathering, scheduling and communications between internal staff, external 3rd party vendors, and external audit firms as required.
2. Creates, maintains and manages project plans to ensure project deliverables meet customer expectations. Verifies project meets overall business goals and objectives.
3. Communicates effectively project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. Produces and presents clear, concise, and professionally written communications and presentations.
4. Coordinates and influences project team members, consultants and third-party contractors to ensure projects are completed on schedule, systems and processes are efficient and are technically and functionally successful.
5. Develops Requests For Proposals (RFPs) for external services. Reviews vendor project plans, quotes and contracts as necessary for accuracy.

Educational Requirements
Bachelor Degree or may substitute with 4 years of like experience.

Required Experience
5+ years performing same or similar responsibilities. Experience includes: project management, healthcare operations, business analysis and technical experience, managing project scope, developing project schedules, and ensuring project quality. Experience with all or most of the following also required:

Applications:

Reporting Services, Native SQL, Amisys.

Other Software:
Visio, Microsoft Office, MS Sharepoint, and Microsoft Project.

Required Licenses and/or Certificates
Project Management Professional (PMP) certificaiton
