Server Engineer II

Position Summary:
Responsible for designing, managing and monitoring the Client Server environment. The Server Engineer II creates standards for server installs as well as performs new installs and upgrades on more complex environments. Specifically this position is responsible for the advanced technologies utilized in the Client Server environment. These environments include but are not limited to Exchange, VMware, Storage Area Network (SAN), Enterprise Backup, and Citrix. The Server Engineer II is also responsible for providing Disaster Recovery documentation for the Client Server environment. This position will also need to act as a project manager for server infrastructure projects.

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree and 7 years of relevant experience OR a Current MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) and 7 years of relevant experience OR an Associates degree and 9 years of relevant experience required. Extensive knowledge of Active Directory is required. An in depth knowledge in two or more of the following is required (Exchange, Netapp SAN, VMware, Netbackup, Citrix). A qualified individual for this position should be self motivated and hardworking.

The candidate must be able to prioritize work assignments and work on difficult tasks with minimal supervision.
