Network Administrator

We're looking for a qualified Network Administrator for a terrific Contract to Hire opportunity. Candidate must be a polished, clear communicator in order to interface directly with the client.

OVERVIEW

• Sets up, configures, and supports internal and/or external Cisco networks.
• Develops and maintains all Cisco network configurations.
• Troubleshoots network performance issues and creates and maintains a disaster recovery plan.
• Recommends upgrades, patches for Cisco equipment.
• Provides technical support and guidance to users.
• Assists in the development and maintenance of network communications.
• Uses knowledge of Cisco LAN/WAN systems to help design and install internal and external networks.
• Tests and evaluates network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 2-5 years of related experience
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in Cisco network switching and routing
• Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Works under general supervision
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude required
• CCNA or equivalent experience required
