Tech Support Engineer - Linux/Provisioning/Hosting Solutions Technical Support Engineer Located in Manassas, VA, we are a quality hosting provider and operator of a first-class, worldwide bandwidth network. Our US based team is extremely talented and passionate about their work. We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Technical Support Engineer to join our team!

What you need for this position:
- 2+ years of experience in a tech support and/or Linux Systems role
- Must have Linux administration experience
- Some knowledge of Windows server (2003/2008)
- Extensive knowledge of miscellaneous hardware
- Basic network knowledge (server-oriented)
- Knowledge of Apache, Postfix and MySQL is a huge plus
- Willing to work in shifts
- Data Center experience a huge plus!
- Valid driver's license
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- Ability to travel to Europe for onsite training (all expenses 100% paid for)
What you'll be doing:
- Installing various operating systems, including both Windows and Linux
- Upgrade servers; hardware, software, OS & applications
- Configuring and installing various hardware, including Servers, Switches, Apc and KVM
- Regularly communicate with customers about the progress of their trouble tickets
- Troubleshooting software problems for internal and external clients
- Installing various control panels (plesk, direct admin, cpanel)
- Properly documenting hardware and software problems, including writing up work instructions and procedures
