Daily Tasks include but not limited to the following:
1. Use business requirement documents to create tables, stored procedures, packages and functions.
2. Use business requirement documents to modify existing CAIRS tables, stored procedures, packages and functions.
3. Troubleshoot end user issues and resolve database problems, queries and error reports in an accurate and timely manner.
4. Perform unit testing on all code changes.
5. Provide time estimates for work to be completed.
6. Provide assistance and/or training to junior team members and OMH staff.
7. Create scripts for migrations to QA and Production platforms.
8. Generate and maintain technical documentation.
9. Assist in identifying process improvements for database performance, reliability and stability.

Requirements:
60 Months Demonstrated experience with Oracle 10g (NOT SQL Server): PL/SQL coding, stored procedures, packages, indexes, triggers, creating tables, etc, plus a tool to write and test SQL code and manipulate data (such as Toad).
60 Months Experience with large data sets (> 10 million rows).
60 Months Experience interpreting and analysing complex business requirements and building the logic within an application's code to meet those requirements
60 Months Experience with ER Studio or similar product to design databases and create entity relationship diagrams
60 Months Experience with Health Care Patient data such as Medicaid, Episodes of Care and HIPAA protected data.
24 Months Experience with VB6, C# .Net, XML, Web Services, MS Visual Studio
