JOB DESCRIPTION:
A position exists for a motivated individual to provide development and maintenance of applications and/or tools to provide access control provisioning and cross-domain computing.

Duties will include, but may not be limited to:

- Designs, implements, and supports the access control provisioning systems based on standard development methodologies.

- Provides programming and database support including web page development and support as well as application testing and validation of results.

- Work with customers in defining and negotiating requirements.

- Develop new capabilities, enhancements, modifications, and corrections to existing software and database systems.

- Document work and results.

The successful candidate must possess:

- One to 5 years programming experience in Java, C++ or C#

- Must understand and have used Agile, testing and other development tools and methods

- Database design and SQL programming;

- Web application design;

- Programming, scripting, and markup languages;

- Network protocols.

- Written and verbal communication skills, as well as ability to write documentation and reports.

- Be able to attain a DOE Q level clearance

Qualifications:

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in related field and 1+ years experience. An additional 4 years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
