This position is a telecommute position and will primarily support the Western United States (Mountain and Pacific Time Zones).
Primary Objective: Responsible for ensuring all assigned projects are managed in accordance with the standards set in the Implementation Service's West km project management methodology. Also responsible for providing consulting services in the areas of knowledge management and best practices for the use of the West km product.
Primary Responsibilities:Quality Implementation Service Delivery: Responsible for ensuring and managing the application of Thomson Reuters's West km project quality model (PQM) on all services provided on client projects at the level appropriate for the project. Including:
- Co-ordination with West km Implementation Manager on addendums and agreements for projects
- Co-ordination of Thomson Reuters resources, specialists and other subject matter experts required throughout duration of project
- Providing consulting services as required
- Status reporting and issue escalation to Implementation Manager
- Assembling and leading cross-functional teams to successfully implement the leading knowledge management solution in the legal industry
- Analyzing our clients business requirements and developing innovative and effective solutions to the challenges they face
- Effectively communicating, at both a functional and technical level, with a diverse group of professionals on a variety of topics from legal research, to technology, and to document and content management
- Complete life cycle management of West km product implementations
- Managing client relationships to ensure a successful implementation and a satisfied, reference-able client
- Maintaining personal knowledge of evolving industry trends and business needs
- Proactive development of personal competencies in the technical and functional capabilities of the West km products
- Liaising with the product development team to ensure that client requirements are considered for product evolution
- Participate in the review and testing of new releases of the West km product line
Staff Skills and Knowledge: Responsible for coordinating with the Implementation Manager to ensure that the implementation team consulting knowledge, skills and experience provided to the clients are appropriate for the project. Client Satisfaction and Financial Objectives: Responsible for meeting the client satisfaction and financial objectives of the Client Services Group, which includes:
- Ensuring overall client satisfaction by:
- Ensuring projects are proactively managed, are executed according to schedules, are on budget and issues are resolved promptly
- Ongoing contact with clients to ensure satisfaction with assigned Thomson Reuters resources and project progress
- Attention to project accounting by
- Effectively managing project to maximize resource utilization
- Preparation of initial project budgets and task plans, confirm accuracy to actual monthly, document and manage the project within the framework established by service modelsThomson Reuters Implementation Team Professional Development: Responsible for contributing to team's knowledge base on implementation process & product. Interdepartmental Interaction: Responsible for coordinating interaction between the clients and other Thomson Reuters departments (ie customer technical support, product development, account management, etc.) to ensure that issues and enhancements affecting implementation projects are effectively resolved. Advancement Opportunities:Assume additional responsibilities/qualifications that may include, but not limited to:
- Being a certified PMP
- Create additional on-boarding and training material for new team members and assuming responsibility for new staff acclimation
- Create additional documentation for Clients and/or West km Client Implementation Workbook
- Becoming a certified attorney or completing additional educational requirements
- Become a vocal leader; providing guidance for team members across the organization; providing product or implementation demonstrations or presentations for conferences

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements - Knowledge and Skills:
- 4-year degree in related area orequivilant work experience
- Customer implementation project management experience
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well across departments and skill levels, in a cross-functional team environment
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to share knowledge with others in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to prioritize and to work independently
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to develop and implement creative solutions for difficult issues
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Reliable and flexible with a high degree of initiative
Desired Qualifications:
- Working in Mountain or Pacific time zone preferred
- 3-5 years of project management experience
- Knowledge of Legal applications/Document Management systems (Hummingbird/eDOCS, Interwoven)
- Knowledge of legal research tools - WestLaw, WestlawNext, Lexis
