Web Developer

Yoh has a contract-to-hire opportunity for a Web Developer to join our client in Allen, Texas.

Job Responsibilities:

- Analysis and Solution Definition

- Create, maintain and optimize fully-functional E-commerce websites for our clients.
- Work with management and implementation team to understand business requirements
- Create and document design specifications
- Produce accurate project estimates for the sales cycle and design phase

- Web Development

- Implement dynamic, data-driven E-commerce websites
- Collaborate with project managers and other developers to meet schedules and deliverables
- Work with lead developers to determine appropriate which technologies solutions are appropriate

Job Qualifications:

- Three (3) plus years of experience web application development.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Four-year college degree or equivalent experience.
- Ability to write elegant, efficient and well documented code.
- Expert knowledge of a web development language (such as PHP/ColdFusion/ASP.NET/Perl, etc.).
- Expert knowledge of HTML/CSS, JavaScript and AJAX.
- Expert knowledge of XML and web services (SOAP), and integration with 3rd party systems.
- Object-oriented programming
- Familiarity and adherence to web standards.
- Working knowledge of database concepts, design and T-SQL.
- The ideal candidate will have a degree in computer science or equivalent experience, with strong technical experience in web development, Object Oriented Programming, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery.

Preferred Job Skills/Experience/Knowledge:

- Experience building and maintaining E-commerce websites, including related technologies such as payment gateways, tax software providers, etc.
- Experience working with 3rd-party web technologies, like Scene7, Fluid or RichFX.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft ASP.NET and Visual Studio, or other Enterprise development environments.
- Experience with T-SQL, MS SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, etc.
- Experience with source control and collaboration tools such as Subversion, Source Safe, MS Team Server, etc.
- Experience with the Eclipse IDE.
- Candidates with experience in web technologies such as PHP, ColdFusion, ASP.NET, Java, JSP, etc. are preferred.
- jQuery experience is strongly preferred.
