IT Infrastructure Engineer

SolTech is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join a team to lead support with core infrastructure upgrade projects (such as network upgrades, server builds and office setups) and provide support to the current IT infrastructure.

Job Responsibilites:

• Architect, implement and manage/monitor network security
• Network capacity planning
• Performance tuning and troubleshooting
• Maintain Cisco WLAN solution
• Maintain CUCM/Unity & Presence environments
• Prepare and maintain Network & Systems Documentation
• Manage & maintain Windows 2003/2008/20012 server environments
• Management of NETAPP/SAN
• Creation and management of SQL Clustered environments
• VMware virtualization
• Assist in creation/maintenance of DR/BC plan

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, Engineering or related field
• 5+ years hands-on knowledge Windows 2003/2008
• 5+ years hands-on knowledge Exchange 2003/2010
• 5+ years LAN/WAN/WLAN administration
• 3+ years experience w/NAS/SAN technologies
• 3+ years experience w/VMware ESX
• 2+ years w/network load-balancing
• Experience creating/maintaining Disaster Recovery& Continuity Plans
• Knowledge of web services
• Knowledge of web delivery technologies
• Proficiency w/the design, provisioning & troubleshooting of LAN/WAN
• Expertise deploying network management/reporting systems

Licenses, Certifications, or Registrations

• VCP, MCITP, CCNA, CISSP preferred
