Junior PHP Developer

Growing and tech-savvy company in Alpharetta area is looking for a sharp mid-level to senior PHP Developer. In this role, you will need to be creative and talented with experience in PHP, MySQL and JQuery. You will be challenged on a daily basis to solve problems in new and creative ways. You will need experience working with large databases and high demand scalable systems.

A successful candidate will have demonstrable experience building real online applications in a LAMP environment and will be able to make a meaningful contribution from day one. You will be comfortable working with team members at all levels and departments within the organization. You will be willing to share your opinions and insights with business leaders in order to affect rapid decision cycles and effective technical solutions to business requirements.

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience with PHP web application development in LAMP environment
• MySQL database creation and query optimization
• Experience with versioning software.
• Proficient in Web services/SOAP/XML
• Knowledge of HTML (XHTML preferred), CSS and Javascript/JQuery
• Experience coding for and testing content/layout in multiple browsers
• Ability to translate business requirements into system design
• Ability to partner and work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
• Strong debugging skills with ability to easily and quickly read and modify existing code
