Mobile Android Developer

SolTech is seeking a Mobile Developer to consult and design a tablet application for a client in the education space. The developer will need to assess the application need, provide consultative direction and design and be able to perform the development of the application and/or teach a team of developers how to program the application.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide consultative services to determine a solution to the client need for a tablet application
• Design the architecture of the application as well as the user interface
• Develop the tablet application
• Teach a team of developers how to develop/program the tablet application and how to maintain it over time

Required Skills:

• Experience developing mobile applications on Android platforms
• Java and other native Android programming languages
• 3+ years experience with user interface design and information architecture
• Proven success in launching completed mobile applications to the Android Market
• Thorough understanding of application development methodologies
• Hands-on experience developing test cases and test plans
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
