Senior Architect - Mobile Payment Solutions

The Technical Environments will consist of RESTful Web Services, J2EE, XML, VMware, Mobile Payment Solutions.

Job Summary:

The Lead Architect will be responsible for the overall technical roadmap and planning, architecture design, and system specification of the company's mobile commerce infrastructure. This position requires solid knowledge of mobile, web-based, service-oriented architectures, enterprise service bus, scalability concepts, analytics, and solid coding and design skills. This position will establish and maintain technology standards, evaluate new technologies and technology innovation.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

• Defining highly complex solutions including mobile payment and banking offerings
• Providing thought leadership regarding system design, development, architecture, and integration
• Mentoring and leading teams in the appropriate use of technology and best practices
• Leading and reviewing design activities to ensure high performance levels, scalability, quality, and security
• Driving technology innovation through rapid proofs of concepts based on solid research and analysis
• Leading system and architecture development methodologies
• Collaborating with Engineering and Development to guide technical direction of the
• Contributing to internal knowledge base through white papers

Education and Experience Requirements:

• MS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related degree
• 10+ years of development experience focused on systems architecture; at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Proven expertise and experience developing large, complex system designs and specifications
• Mobile, web and Application Server expertise
• Solid understanding of network, application, and data security best practices
• Experience with multiple application frameworks
• Experience with SOA/Enterprise Service Bus Development and Implementation
• Expertise with architecture design and diagram skills and system documentation
• Clear, effective communication capabilities working across diverse teams
• Experience in financial services a plus
• Demonstrated ability to manage large scale, highly visible projects as a technical expert
