Job Description: Unix Administrator Candidate must possess strong AIX & Linux administration skills with the ability to diagnose scaling issues using tools like SAR, vmstat, iostat, and others. Candidate must also have a strong understanding of IP networks, including the ability to analyze packet captures in addition to network administration tasks such as configuring DNS, DHCP, and NTP services. The ability to automate procedures using Shell Scripts and languages like Perl is essential.

It would be very helpful if the candidate had familiarity with IBM LPAR and VMware virtualization, the use and administration of SANs, and the administration of managed Ethernet Switches from Extreme, Nortel, and BNT.

Essential

Skills:

- Ability to communicate at multiple levels including Business organizations and Technical Organizations
- AIX & Linux administration skills.
