Job Description: Business Systems Analyst - Quality Systems

The Corporate Quality Operations - Systems vision is to support our global corporate customers with efficient and effective systems and processes that meet their needs. Achieving this vision requires the use of creative solutions to solve complex and challenging business problems while doing so cost effectively, timely and while maintaining the required levels of compliance.

Position Summary
Provide technical and process solutions to address business and reporting requirements for global quality systems including TrackWise, Plateau, Livelink, Gage InSite, Legacy (Filemaker Pro and Access), other Quality Databases and Crystal Reports for data reporting.

Core Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new workflows, processes, and reports using best practices.
- Create and execute test scripts, change request packages and protocols under minimal supervision.
- Create and maintain flow diagrams. Create Risk Assessments and scenarios.
- Address moderately complex Helpdesk Tickets.
- Evaluate and understand the business requirements for the application(s) they support, and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Evaluate and implement Software Patches and Upgrades.
- Manage and maintain the Version Control process for the software.
- Write and maintain System Life Cycle SOPs.

Additional Responsibilities
- Recognize and communicate inconsistencies in system design across multiple projects.
- Provide guidance to End User for their SOPs.
- Participate in validation activities.
- Interface with the vendor and I.T. to address medium risk needs.
- Participate in multiple project teams involving application evaluation, implementation and upgrades.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma.
- 5 - 8 years developing and supporting electronic systems or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a regulated industry.

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Administrator or software support.
- Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and validation methodologies.
- Knowledge of applications such as TrackWise, Livelink, Plateau, Gage InSite and CATSWeb or similar e-systems.
- 3 years of experience at an FDA regulated company.
