Job Description JOB SUMMARY
Serves as a senior subject matter expert for business processes and Oracle configurations. Serves as a techno-functional expert responsible for the end-to-end solution working with development, application teams and end users.
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Order Management setups including processing constraints, defaulting rules, sets, holds, and OM Workflow
- Setup for key order management data including TCA, Item and BOM
- Setup fulfillment, pricing, shipping, inventory
- Collaborate in definition of business processes, documentation of business and systems requirements, conceptual designs and/or feasibility studies for proposed system capabilities
- Validate potential gaps between requirements and existing business model.
- Document the specification of development for extensions.
- Perform testing on the Oracle and 3rd party applications that support the defined solutions.
- Produce the necessary documentation for information systems operations and functional users.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or related field.
- 6+ years of Oracle applications experience in order management
- Experience defining, planning, coordinating, and directing all R12 application configuration activities related to a successful R12 implementation including:
- Good analytical skills utilizing structured development and problem solving techniques.
- Proficient computer skills required including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated successful ability to build positive partnerships and work collaboratively with cross-functional business teams.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to learn to perform system troubleshooting of Oracle EBS applications.
- Experience developing ad-hoc queries and/or programming using the SQL query language.
- Minimum 2 Full lifecycle implementation of Oracle ERP in Order Management modules.
- Flexibility in a rapidly changing environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Strong knowledge of EBS applications with a concentration in R12 Order Management processes such as order taking, holds, scheduling, fulfillment, ATP, logistics.
- Ability to setup and configure related order management modules such as iStore, Configurator, scheduling, ATP, Shipping Management, iSupplier etc.
- Industry Experience as a manufacturing, planning, or warehouse manager, as well as consulting experience.
- Strong Leadership and Organizational skills.
- Experience working in a multi-language, multi country, multi-org environment desirable
- Experience with Project Management and/or Systems Delivery Methodologies highly desired.
- Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly and effectively both orally and in writing.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective business relationships with business units and other associates.
- Experience working with a geographically distributed team.
- Experienced with systems roll-outs, business process re-engineering providing on-going support to systems and utilizing best business practice.
- Oracle certification in EBS preferred.
