Wellness & Prevention, Inc., a member of the Johnson & Johnson family of companies, is recruiting for a Product Owner - Web Applications. This position is based in Ann Arbor, MI.

Wellness & Prevention (W&P) is the global leader in online delivery of behavior change interventions. Our behavioral support programs create unique health improvement plans for each individual. This plan and the subsequent continued care plans teach the participant how to achieve his or her individual goals.

W&P programs cover a wide range of health issues. Examples include: Health and Wellness - weight management, smoking cessation, stress management, Disease Management - Diabetes, Pain Management, Medication Adherence, and Behavioral Health - Insomnia, Depression.

The Product Owner works with Strategic Product Manager to assist/understand the business requirements (eg Business Case, Product Vision, Product Roadmap) related to both Portal and Coaching portions of the business. To create estimable requirements that can be decomposed into detailed functional, non-functional requirements

Supports the Strategic Product Manager in cross-functionally vetting the top priorities to promote visibility and ensure viability in deployment

Owns the product decision matrix, which feeds the product backlog, including collection of inputs and the actual use of the tool to prioritize the list of backlog items

Determines functional requirements, which define the internal workings of the software, including the solution details, data processing and other specific functionality that show how the user stories are to be satisfied

Works with other functions to determine non-functional requirements, which specify criteria that can be used to judge the operation of a system, rather than specific behaviors

Engages with customers and User Experience to hone and refine targeted capabilities that are planned for upcoming release

Acts as the primary interface between the product manager and the development team for the assigned product domain. Delivers details in grooming sessions

Validates functional feasibility

Reviews test strategy and signs off on test cases after QA walkthrough

Work closely with Product Management, Project Management, Engineering, and Quality functions to ensure alignment and joint accountability for successful achievement of project goals

Signs off on product release functionality through validation of acceptance criteria

Creates product release notes

Work independently on mid to large size projects

Qualifications

Mandatory

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)

Minimum 3-5 years experience serving as an Agile Product Owner, Business or Systems Analyst supporting product software development projects

Experience executing as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Technical Product Manager or Business Analyst in an environment leveraging Agile Methods (eg SCRUM)

Strong communication skills and ability to work with many levels of the organization

Requirement elicitation techniques and skills:

Proficiency with MS Office suite of products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio

Desired

Professional Services/Consulting Background

MIS/CIS/CS/Engineering Degree

Experience with collaborative team software tools like SharePoint, JIRA, Rally

Experience in Healthcare or Pharmaceutical Industry
