JOB SUMMARY

Leads and manages cross-functional projects throughout full life cycle. Monitors performance against the plan, and reports status and other metrics related to the assigned projects. Develops and maintains project timelines to ensure successful project execution.
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develops detailed schedules for critical project activities.
- Tracks and manages project execution against timeline, revising as appropriate, to meet changing project needs and requirements.
- Manages multiple projects in a rapidly changing environment.
- Facilitates discussion of all stake holders in a positive and proactive manner.
- Support development of project business case.
- Analyze risk, issues, and opportunities, and take proactive ownership to resolve project issues as they arise.
- Support executive and team gate reviews as project milestones dictate.
- Follows standard Masco Cabinetry project management best practices (ie team meetings, issues, schedule detail, etc.)

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related field.
- 4 years project management experience of medium to large New Product Development, Capital, or IS projects.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, in addition to Microsoft Project.
- Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to motivate teams.
- Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task various and conflicting responsibilities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple project work teams using applied principles of project management.
- Is effective in a variety of formal presentation settings.
- Demonstrated ability to understand complex business processes (manufacturing, product development, order to cash, marketing, costing, and information systems related).
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

- Project management experience in the New Product Development Area
- Experience with Stage-Gate or similar gated process
- Project Management Professional (PMP)® Certification.
