Senior Programmer Analyst, Business Intelligence & ETL

JOB SUMMARY

Serves as a senior technical expert for Oracle OBIEE, Informatica ETL and Oracle Discoverer. This position is responsible for the end-to-end Business Intelligence solution working with development, application teams and end users.

PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- OBIEE Suite 10g running on Red Hat Linux Enterprise
- Informatica PowerCenter 8.6.1
- (OBIA) BI Applications 7.9.6.2
- Data Warehouse Administration Console 10.1.3.4.1
- Oracle Business Intelligence 10.1.3.4.1
- Responsible to support business requirements in existing subject areas of employee expenses (iExpense), sales, and general ledger including charge capture from production for budget and expense, balance sheet, accounts payable, account receiving, cost of goods sold, revenue,
- OID (LDAP) for authentication routines
- Discoverer 10.1.2.54.25
- Collaborate in definition of reporting and dashboard needs, documentation of business and systems requirements, conceptual designs and/or feasibility studies for proposed system capabilities.
- Validate potential gaps between requirements and existing models.
- Analysis, Design and Programming of the solutions in collaboration with business and information systems functional teams.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or related field.
- 6 years of Oracle OBIEE experience in consumer products or distribution businesses.
- 5 years of programming and support of ETL processes using Informatica
- Excellent analytical skills utilizing structured development and problem solving techniques.
- Proficient computer skills required including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated successful ability to build positive partnerships and work collaboratively with cross-functional business teams.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
- Experience programming with P/L SQL.
- Minimum 3 Full lifecycle OBIEE implementation of Oracle ERP.
- Flexibility in a rapidly changing environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

- Strong knowledge of EBS applications with a concentration in R12
- Industry Experience in Finance
- Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly and effectively both orally and in writing.
- Experienced with systems roll-outs, business process re-engineering providing on-going support to systems and utilizing best business practice.
- Oracle certification preferred.
