Description

Key Role:
Provide installation, configuration, and operational use of network security devices, including firewalls, IDS, or traffic analyzers and anti-virus, anti-spyware, and commercial forensic tools and products. Identify device specific signatures for network security products and devices. Provide support to Computer Network Operations (CNO) developers by evaluating CNO tools and techniques. Provide written reports on results of evaluations.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:-2+ years of experience with computer science, information systems, or network engineering-2+ years of experience with installing and configuring network devices, including Routers and switches-1+ years of experience with installing and configuring VMware products-Experience with Perl, VB, or UNIX Shell scripting, systems, including Windows, Linux, and Solaris and network administration-Experience with configuration management, design, and implementation of network architecture scenarios, containing various operating systems-Ability to install and configure network security devices, including firewalls and IDS and install and configure anti-virus and spy-ware protection software-Ability to design, write, and execute software test plans-Ability to replicate real world network scenarios in a lab environment-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:-MCSE, RHCE, CEH, CCNA, or CISSP Certification preferred

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
