Job Description: Oracle Database Administrator

Oracle DBA

Responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and repair of databases for a complex enterprise- level development program.
Responsible for the security measures to safeguard organizational databases.

Experience Required

Minimum of 10 Years of experience to include the development and design of database strategies; monitoring and improving database performance and capacity; data recovery; planning for future expansion and conversion; implementation and release of database changes as submitted by the development team and general administrator support.

Unix/NT operating system training or equivalant.
Experience in COTS OEM tool database design and administration equivalant.
Shell Scripting experience.
Experience with Data Management Tools, NT Administration.
Procedural Language(PL/SQL) knowledge and experience.
Thorough understanding of current database.
Experience documenting process.
