JOB DESCRIPTION: Microsoft Consulting Services is looking for an Infrastructure Consultant (SC)/PKI/CA who will support the National Security Group responsible for delivering Enterprise Services technical solutions to customers allowing them to maximize their investment in Microsoft technology. The successful candidate will build upon solid IT project experience relative to their level, these consultants will work with Microsoft's partners and US Government Customers to assist in:

- The delivery of high quality engagements around Microsoft's solution areas, technologies and products in diverse client environments.
- Stabilizing developed infrastructure solutions using Microsoft methodologies in complex customer environments.
- The design and development of integrated solutions using the latest Microsoft products and technologies.
- Understanding the relevant application development, infrastructure and operations implications of the developed solution.

The ideal candidate should have:
- A degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- 5-7 years of experience with Microsoft platform products including the Windows NT/2000/2003/2008 Operating System.
- Experience with the evaluation, design, and upgrading of several technologies used to create, manage, update, monitor, and report on Infrastructure configurations.
- Significant work experience involving technical consulting, systems development, systems deployment and a proven record of delivering business value.
- A deep understanding of markets, US Government customer and partner business and IT environment; have the background to provide leadership in business and demonstrated effectiveness in consulting and client management; creating architecture and deploying technology to solve business problems
- Industry leading depth knowledge of subject area, and have demonstrated analysis and communication skills connecting technology and business problems.
- Windows Server 2003/2008, Active Directory infrastructure experience is a must have. Knowledge and understanding of Exchange Server 2003/2007, OCS, SCCM, SCOM is desirable.

The role requires both broad and deep technology knowledge and the ability to architect a solution by mapping a customer business problem to an end-to-end technology solution. The individual will diagnose and correct performance problems. Each consulting engagement is customized to serve the client's unique needs. The role requires a technically strong Senior Consultant who is resourceful, confident under pressure, and has demonstrated skill in both IT Infrastructure Design and Deployment and Business Development.

The successful candidate must be a U.S. Citizen, hold an active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with polygraph and be able to start within 30 days of offer acceptance. This position will require travel to customer sites.
