Description

Key Role:

Provide support for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of information technology (IT) systems. Manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems and provide support to IT systems, including day-to-day operations and monitoring and problem resolution for the entire client, server, storage, and network devices and mobile devices. Provide tier 1 and tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems. Provide support for the escalation and communication of statuses to agency management and internal customers. Support the dispatch system and hardware problems and remain involved in the resolution process. Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems and install and load operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity, and configure network components, and implement operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
-5 years of experience with programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
-Experience with optimizing system operations and resource use
-Experience with tier 1 and tier 2 support
-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
-BA or BS degree or 5 years of experience with systems administration in lieu of a BA or BS degree

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
