Qualifications/Duties
Texas Health Resources has an immediate need for a Clinical Performance Improvement Project Manager. The qualified candidate will have the following:

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
BS in healthcare or healthcare related field
Master's preferred

MINIMUM WORK EXERIENCE:
5 years experience in Project Management, Change Management, Performance Improvement, or Process Improvement.

CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE:
Applicable healthcare licensure (eg RN, Respiratory Therapy, Pharmacy, Lab Technologist)

CPHQ required within 2 years of hire
Master Change Agent Designation within 1 year of hire

JOB DUTIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
Ability to generate change through influence rather than authority
Motivate, influence and engage system and entity leaders, staff and physicians to adopt and execute process improvements
Manage multiple program components simultaneously.
Demonstrate strong research skills combined with knowledge of health care quality, patient safety and improvement industry trends
Function as the subject matter expert to provide clinical/patient safety and PI expertise as necessary in the development of quality and patient safety initiatives (eg, tracers).
Provide workgroups, committees and taskforces with exceptional facilitation, educational and communication skills [both written and verbal]
Work independently and intentionally to complete projects according to agreed upon project timelines, achieving milestones and deliverables as per the plan
Demonstrate a solid understanding of Performance Improvement tools and techniques as well as the use of common desktop applications [Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project].
Demonstrate solid project management skills to advance designated KPIs through multi-disciplinary teams and Councils.
Develop, manage project plans and monitor outcomes that reflect advancement of evidence based practices, standardization and improvement in both clinical quality and patient safety
Based on specialty training, provide operational assessment and integration of improvement activities utilizing the TAPE/Baldrige framework.
Function as a Master Change Agent and actively participate on the planning and delivery of CAP/Workout training. Mentor and partner with system services and entity staff new to the CAP and Work Out process.
Apply specialized skill set for accelerated change and waste reduction, utilizing CAP/WorkOut, to accomplish entity goals around opportunities for improvement.
