Description:

Perform Project Management tasks in the support of the http://www.army.mil/website. Experience using Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) and Commercial Off-The-Shelf applications using tools/technology such as CORE/CMS and Microsoft Office products

Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects. Takes projects from original concept through final implementation. Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, computer services, and client services. Defines project scope and objectives. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables. Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team. Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems. - Evaluate future trends, assess impacts and risks resulting in successful plans for positioning the customer and contractor groups. Creates an environment where the team thoroughly understands and effectively executes existing technical processes and procedures and is encouraged to develop new approaches as required. Conducts research, customer surveys, team meetings and/or benchmarking studies to determine products and services that will enhance the support to the customer. Plans and conducts multi-group IT staff meetings. Responds to requests to participate in special projects with broad contract scope. Leads customer and team In-Process Reviews (IPR's) where team performance is discussed. Monitors customer business requirements and makes recommendations on additional required IT skill sets.- Exhibits the ability to contribute to the company's objectives by attaining a broader and more stable business base. Provides a direct interface to customers needing additional support.

Qualifications:
8-10 years of experience with a B.S. degree.

Experience with the following commercial products/tools a plus: Brightcove, LimeLight, DotSub, MediaTemple, Basecamp, Google Analytics.
