Architect

Yoh has a contract opportunity for an Architect to join our client in Atlanta, GA.

Job Overview:

The Senior Architect will be responsible for architecture, design, documentation, testing, technology and solution evaluation, technical planning and coordination. The responsibilities will include writing design documents, supporting and managing other architects, ensuring alignment with strategic direction and target architecture, developing technical requirements, vendor and solution evaluation and requirements, providing status on project and initiative progress. The role involves high-level assessment, cost and time estimates for technical solutions leading to more detailed requirements that includes testing, lab, deployment and potentially life cycle.

Job Responsibilities:

- Review and feedback into marketing and business requirements for portal, service and network components.
- Alignment of technical solution to match the business requirements. Develop solution evaluation criteria, solutions approach, impact assessment, design and architecture within aggressive project timelines.
- Technical project management and leading initiatives with team-members providing feedback into the technical solution
- Leading of cross functional teams to align on project plan, issues, risks, resources.
- Management of 3rd parties applications, OEM's, client applications, internal groups to deliver features, functionality, resources to support additional resources
- Development of processes for on-boarding services and applications onto the Encore
- Technology & Vendor Evaluation as required
- Learn and support processes and organizational structure within defined roles.
- Providing of formalized reports to stakeholders on project status and issues
- Coordinating the work of internal and external vendors and teams

Job Qualifications:

- Wireless (GSM, LTE)
- Messaging Technologies/Protocols: SMS, MMS, SMPP, MM7, SIP, RTP, RTMP, RCS, OMA, Voicemail, SMTP, IMAP, Unified Messaging, Cloud Messaging.
- Web Services: REST, RESTful, SOAP
- Telecom Regulatory Compliance: CALEA, Stored Communication Act (SCA), Telecommunications Act (TA)
- Familiar with Agile Methodologies within an enterprise organization
- Previous experience with API's
- Experience creating cloud infrastructures
