Build and Automation Engineer

Title: Build and Automation Engineer
Duration: 3-6 month contract
Location: Atlanta, GA 30346
 
Our client is seeking a Build and Automation Engineer to contribute to ongoing Continuous Delivery project to accelerate and automate the software build, regression testing and deployment process.

Required skills:

• 5+ years experience with creating/developing software build and deployment scripts (ant, ivy, maven)
• 5+ years experience with Continuous Integration tools (Jenkins, Hudson, Bamboo)
• Experience with build automation tools (Puppet, Chef)
• Experience in Unix-based system administration
• Strong Scripting skills (bash, Perl, Ruby, Python)
• Strong knowledge of version control systems (cvs, svn, git) and branch management
• Preferred Experience:
• Experience with DevOps methodologies
• Familiarity with Enterprise Oracle DB deployments
• Familiarity with object-oriented programming fundamentals
