iOS Developer

SolTech, a project-based software development services firm, is seeking an iOS Developer to join a team focused exclusively on mobile application development. This talented team is comprised of architects and engineers skilled in both iOS and Android development. The candidate must have experience in mobile applications and be able to articulate possible solutions, issues and opportunities. Prior experience in Java based web services development required.

Currently, this team is engaged on a large initiative to develop mobile payment technology which integrates with a large message based transaction processing system. We are looking for bright "go-getters" who will thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Configuration Management - maintain mobile code base from third parties
• SDK Validation
• Ability to leverage existing code to make new variants (ex. numerous versions of Lyfe)
• Support both the evolution and maintenance of existing applications and the design and delivery of new applications.
• Designs, develops, documents, and debugs software
• Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle
• Ensures software standards are met
• Coordination with QA testers for end to end unit testing and post production testing
• Closely interact with a business team as requirements are developed and documented
• Excels in a complex development environment creating dynamic cutting edge solutions
• Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned
• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years experience in iOS development 7+years of large scale S/W development
• Expertise with Java development, web services, database integration and mobile applications
• OS/Server Platform = (Solaris, Linux flavor, etc)Application Server Platform = (JBoss, Jetty, etc)Database Platform = (DB@/Oracle/etc)J2EE/Libraries/REST & Web Services Libraries (Spring, JAX-RS implementation)
• Experience in navigating cross-functional teams
• Effective verbal and written communications Advanced problem solving skills and the ability to work with innovative solutions
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex situations and understand key issues quickly
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize work load and meet multiple deadlines
• Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment and make independent decisions
