IT Audit Senior

POSITION SUMMARY:

Our IT Audit Senior Associates are responsible for the delivery of IT audit and assurance consulting services for multiple clients in a variety of industries. Special emphasis is placed on understanding the technology, processes, risks, and controls related to accounting and financial management processes. We also provide complementary services related to audit and assurance of other forms of technology risk such as network security, privacy and data management, IT systems planning and due diligence, as well as more operational consulting related to the effective use and management of technology to improve business performance.

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

• 4 year degree required in accounting, technology or related discipline.
• CPA or CISA designation strongly preferred.

Desired Certifications include:

• "CISM"
• "CISSP"
• "CIPP"

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Working knowledge of audit and accounting methodologies and principles is required.
• 4 year degree required in accounting, technology or related discipline.
• 2-4 years experience in IT Audit and/or Information Security including controls, security and privacy
• Highly motivated, strong team player
• Ability to produce excellent written reports and audit documentation
• Strong oral and written communication skills required.
• Commitment to exceptional client service and creative problem-solving ability with a consultancy mindset
• Flexible, self-starter with the ability to interact with various levels of client and firm management.
• Process Management with emphasis on IT and business processes.
• Ability to travel approximately 25%
• Experience conducting assessments and documenting remediation requirements
• Experience auditing and consulting around security and privacy
• Ability to define audit test procedures
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Experience using network vulnerability assessment tools

QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED:

• CPA and CISA designations
• MBA
• Privacy related skills
• SAS 70 audit
• Experience working on internal IA/CISO team for a large organization
• Consulting experience
• Prior involvement in the business development process
