Junior Java Developer

Very fast-growing and well-positioned company has an immediate need for a Junior Java Developer on a direct hire basis. This is an excellent opportunity to get involved with FULL SDLC from analysis, design, programming, testing, implementation and production support of all web applications. This is a modern work environment and you must have a solid understanding of J2EE

Responsibilities:

• Develop web applications in a J2EE environment and take through the full SDLC (analyze, develop, test, implement, maintain/enhance).
• Develop and document technical design
• Test and implement your dev work
• Develop release procedures for migrating applications to QA and production environments
• Provide support to users as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 1+ years experience developing in a J2EE environment
• Strong preference for some experience with Spring OR Hibernate.
• Oracle database experience
• Strong programming background with experience deploying real-world applications
• Knowledge of best practices for web applications
• Working knowledge of databases
• Sound general knowledge of IT systems and facilities

Plusses:

• JBoss/GlassFish/Tomcat, EJB3 experience
• Experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript, JSP and tag libraries
• Struts2
