We consider the unique views and opinions of our Associates to be key to our growth and success in the future.Description We currently have the following position available: Project Manager role based in AtlantaRespon.sibilities:Responsible for overseeing construction and fixturing projects for new, expansion, relocation and remodeled stores for all domestic TJX chains. (T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, and HomeGoods).Responsible for insuring quality of construction and completing jobs on time and within budget.Travels to sites to assess progress of projects, on average travels 3-4 days a week.Negotiates or analyzes bid submittals for all assigned construction projects.Reports weekly on ongoing projectsRequirements strongly preferred:At least 10 years of construction related experience with a minimum of 5 years managing big box retail projects.Responsible for covering multiple states, as necessary.Requires 80% travel to sites/stores to assess progress of projects.Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.Extensive general construction and retail store planning knowledge.Solid understanding of store layouts, HVAC, electrical and plumbing criteria.Must be able to work independently, with strong problem solving and decision making skills.Management experience preferred.Solid computer skillsExcellent communication skills required.
