Business Intelligence/Analytics Developer - Qlikview.

Description

A large Media company in Dunwoody Atlanta is expanding its analytics team to include a Qlikview Developer.  This Reporting/Analytics developer will design, code, and maintain BI reporting code and scripts. 

JOB DUTIES:

1. Design and deliver BI (Business Intelligence) applications using QIikView software.
2. Translate business needs into technical code.
3. Maintain and support code
4. Create ad hoc data queries and solve data related reporting issues and document reports created.
5. Ensure reported output is accurate and matches user requirements.
6. Understands and implements complex business rules (source and/or client) and serves as a key resource on critical issues,
7. Reviews and validates work performed by other developers and provides recommendations for improvement.
8. Performs data and systems analysis to determine best BI solution (reports, dashboards, scorecards, data cubes, etc).
9. Monitor and address data quality issues, and communicate with and train super users on BI solutions. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline or the equivalent technical training and work experience required.
• 2+ years experience with developing in Business Intelligence Reporting software such as:
• Knowledge of BI reporting and visualization tool architectures, functions, and features.
• Ability to translate  business questions and requirements into reports, views, and BI query objects
• Must have an understanding of information systems, data modelling, business intelligence, relational database design and knowledge of how to access multiple information sources for analytical purposes.
• High capacity for data analysis, data modelling, computer programming, problem solving, sound judgment, accuracy and attention to detail.
