Sr. Network Engineer - Design and Implementation

Summary:
As the Sr. Network Engineer of Design and Implementation, you will float between infrastructure and operations projects, but your primary role will be on the operations side of the house. This is a HANDS-ON position where you will be responsible for the networking and data center which involves your work with SAN migrations and Data Center migrations. You need to have a solid troubleshooting background as well as have experience doing risk assessments and mitigation strategies. The ideal candidate has direct experience in leading the development and implementation of processes to improve operational efficiencies, IT policies and procedures, and service level agreements.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years experience
- Excellent Root Cause Analysis skills
- Excellent Risk Analysis/Mitigation
- Excellent Troubleshooting and Incident Management Procedures, and Tool Utilization
- Excellent Documentation/Diagramming skills
- Direct experience in leading the development and implementation of processes to improve operational efficiencies, service level agreements (SLAs), and IT policies and procedures, including disaster recovery, security, standards, change management, and service provisioning
- Detailed Architectural and Implementation experience in the following:
- Storage Area Networks (HP 3Par Preferred)
- Active Directory
- VMWare ESX 5.0 or newer
- VMWare SRM
- Detailed Architectural and Implementation experience with Cisco Internetworking to include:
- Switches & Routers
- Multicast/Unicast
- WAN communications using DMVPN, MPLS, DWDM
- Strong knowledge in TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS technology
- Strong knowledge with commercial telecommunications and pr ocesses
- Extensive experience in complex layer 2 and layer 3 environments
- Extensive experience with Firewalls
- Extensive experience with load balancers
- Proficient in VoIP and PBX
- Experience with converged networking (voice, video, data, QoS), and experience with VoIP networking
- CCNA/CCNP/CCIE Certifications a PLUS
- Advance knowledge of the following:
- Power Shell Scripting
- Pearl
- Working knowledge in 2 of the following:
