Summary:

The Senior Web Developer will be responsible for working with the software architect to define, develop and standardize Client's enterprise-wide web solutions. Knowledge of UI usability guidelines as well industry best practices and design patterns for implementing web UI architectures are required. The Senior Web Developer reports to the Manager of Development.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the PMO business analysts to define application user interfaces
  Set the standard for UI development technologies and techniques to be used across all development efforts
• Provide technical leadership on internally and externally staffed project teams
• Critique vendor-proposed solutions and evaluate the quality and correctness of their work during implementation and delivery processes
• Manipulate Master Pages, style sheets and other SharePoint components in order to achieve the desired branding and functionality
• Develop custom .NET features, solutions, web parts, and user control to be deployed and hosted within SharePoint

Qualifications:

• Visual Studio through 2010
• Strong background in web site layout, navigation and page design
• Advanced UI programming skills and be capable of working either independently or within a team environment
• .Net Framework through 4.0
• SharePoint Designer 2010
• Business Connectivity Services
• C# 4.0
• ASP.NET
• XML, XSLT, HTML, CSS
• Master Pages, User Controls, Server Controls
• JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, JSON
• Design Patterns, LINQ, Generics, Lambda Expressions
• The ability to produce well written technical documentation is a must.
• Experience implementing Business Connectivity Services solutions within an enterprise SOA
• A degree in Computer Science or a related field or an equal number of years of the combination of work and experiences
• Travel necessary: Passport required for North American travel

• Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 administration
• Ability to utilize Visual Studio SharePoint project types to go beyond the limited capabilities available through SharePoint Developer
• SQL Server
• Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)
• Microsoft Unit Test Framework
